Ngwathe Local Municipality statement on economic development projects!

The Municipal Manager of Ngwathe Local Municipality, Dr Futhuli Patrick Mothamaha led a delegation of municipal senior officials on a mission to bring about economic development and stimulation projects to benefit residents of the municipality.

Dr Mothamaha recently appointed, hit the ground running when he and the team met with officials of Renewable Energy and Wind Farm Projects teams in Parys, today.

According to the Municipal Manager, these projects are aimed at positioning the municipality as a key player in the broader economic development trajectory in the Fezile Dabi District and contribute in creating job opportunities. Renewable Energy project presentation is aimed at establishing a solar energy station for the new concept of electric vehicles producing 0% carbo emissions. Another stakeholder engagement was on the construction of wind farm in the Edenville area.

The municipal task team led by the Municipal Manager Dr Mothamaha will hold further meetings and do necessary consultations for implementation of these projects.
