The Executive Mayor of Ngwathe local municipality Cllr MJ Mochela welcomed the Premier of the Free State Province, Mme Sisi Ntombela into Ngwathe, Parys in particular.

The Premier wa accompanied by Members of the Executive Council, to conduct oversight on a number of projects and received progress report on the Fezile Dabi Legacy Stadium in Tumahole.

The Executive Mayor emphasized that the municipality continues to appreciate the partnership between Ngwathe and Provincial government in implementing service delivery programs. The projects are aimed at improving the living conditions of our people.

The stadium, a legacy project named after a renowned liberation stalwart, once complete, has potential to attract professional soccer teams and is part of the LED and relevant for youth development in the municipality.
