Ngwathe Local Municipality statement on Debt Relief Amnesty Period 2020/2021

Ngwathe Local Municipality is kindly reminding residents that the Debt Relief Amnesty Period comes to an end on 30 June 2021, after it was extended to benefit the residents.

The purpose of the Relief program was to grant residents rebate by writing off 50% of capital debt on municipal account, when residents pay their 50% portion.

Residents who have not yet taken advantage of the debt write off are requested to visit municipal credit control office, as soon as possible.
