Urgent community announcement to residents of Tumahole/Parys regarding the water supply challenge.

Ngwathe Local Municipality is kindly informing residents of Tumahole/Parys of the water supply challenge due to the damages on the water valve of the main line. Most parts are affected. Water tankers will continue to distribute to highly affected areas.

Municipality requests residents to be patient as technical team is already on site. The team was forced to halt water supply in recent days due to heavy sludge coming from the Vaal River.

The municipality is committed in providing residents with quality water.
