Community announcement to residents of Schonkenville, some parts of Tumahole and Vaal Parys, regarding temporary closure of water supply to reservoir number 3.

Ngwathe Local Municipality informs residents of Schonkenville, Tumahole west, Parys CBD, hospital view and Vaal Parys, of the temporary closure of water supply, which will be on Tuesday (12 April 2022) from 6am to 6pm.

The purpose of the Refurbishment of bulk pipeline to Reservoir 3project is to demolish hard rock around the pipe, as the rocks cause damages to the pipelines and delay water distribution process.

Ngwathe Local Municipality sends a word of apology to residents for the inconvenience, however, this project is one of those commitments to improve service delivery.
