2022 ACADEMIC YEAR

NOTICE TO STUDENTS

Financial assistance in the form of REGISTRATION FEES to prospective students, preference to be given on merit to FIRST time students from historical less privileged families who will be studying at any institution of higher learning recognized in South Africa.

Amount payable by municipality is registrations fees only and will be determined by requirements of relevant academic institution.

Student who receive financial assistance must advice the Municipality immediately, in case of discontinuation of studies to avoid fruitless expenditure on the side of the municipality.

An eligible student must be in possession of the following:

Application/request letter (From Student)

Recommendation letter (From ward Councillor)

ID Copy (certified) Student

Copy of 1 or both Parents / Guardian for further verification.

Copy of Matric results certified.

Acceptance Letter from the Academic Institution of Higher Learning that is recognised in South Africa with registration amount including banking details of the institution.

Proof of Residence and

Affidavit in case of all parents/guardians being unemployed and without income.

A learner must meet maximum requirement for her/him to be considered for assistance in terms of registration by municipality.

Submit your applications to the regional Managers office ( Heilbron, Koppies, Edenville and Vredeford) Parys applications can be hand delivery to the Mayors office.

Submission date for application 25 January 2022 and Closing date 15 February 2022
